About us

Growing Crazy is a woman-owned, veteran operated rare and collectible houseplant shop located in Burien, WA.

We specialize in terrarium creation, kokedama, rare plant curation, plant care & educational workshops and equipping you with all of the tools necessary to best take care of your houseplants!

Originally opened in 2022 by Criztill, the shop started with a dream of curating the most sought after plants in the world and helping plant collectors dreams come true! Since then, Growing Crazy has grown into something much more. Whether it's to relax and breathe the fresh air, attend educational workshops, start your green thumb journey, have your plants nursed back to health by our team of experts or find the plants you want the most, we do it all!

Al is our resident expert and human encyclopedia on all things plants. He has studied botany and horticulture, operated multiple plant shops after his time in the Navy and makes it his personal mission to educate and build people's confidence when it comes to plant ownership.

Travis is the reason the shop looks as good as it does! Between nurturing the plants, tending to their watering, soil and sun requirements, repotting, trimming and interfacing with customers, Trav does it all. He's only started his plant journey recently but has already become highly knowledgeable in all things green!
